Artist Elaine Clayman Featured at Audubon Artists 76th Annual Anniversary Exhibition

NEW YORK, Oct. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Artist Elaine Clayman's original oil on linen artwork, "Dignity" will be highlighted in the upcoming Audubon Artists 76th Annual Anniversary Exhibition.  The show will be held at the Salmagundi Club at 47 Fifth Avenue, open to the public from October 29 to November 9, 2018.

"We are delighted to have Elaine Clayman on the Board of  Audubon Artists and Allied Artists as well as the planning committee for Audubon's 75th Anniversary edition of our catalogue.  We are excited about  our annual showcase of Audubon Artists' exhibitors," said Vincent Nardone, president of Audubon Artists. "Each year, we are honored to select pieces by artistic professionals whose work is both distinctive and exceptional."

Artworks shown will include varied themes across six different styles of expression: aquamedia, graphics and drawings, collage and mixed media, oils, pastels and sculpture. 

Artist Elaine Clayman works in portraiture and contemporary figurative painting. In her early career, she was mentored by renowned Harlem Renaissance artist, Charles Alston.  Elaine also studied with noted painters, Steven Assael and David Grey. She currently works with central art figures, Eric Michelson and Donelle Estey


Exhibition Hours: Monday through Friday: 1-6pm, Saturday and Sunday: 1-5pm

Opening Reception: Sunday, November 4, 2018, 1-4pm

About Elaine Clayman

Elaine Clayman studied at the Salmagundi Art Club and the Art Students League of New York. She has been featured in many exhibitions in New York City, including solo and group shows at the Salmagundi Club and Ceres Gallery, who represents her work.  Elaine is an elected member of Allied Artists of America and a member of Audubon Artists.
